Veggie Combo!

I have a new obsession with brussel sprouts after my brother in law made them with dinner a couple of months ago. I made this medley, adding a few more veggies to his method.

Cook turkey bacon in a large skillet. Add brussels sprouts, asparagus, red pepper, garlic, fresh lemon juice, and roasted red pepper flakes. Cover, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are completely cooked. I serve it over brown rice and it is tasty.


Just make sure that you don't add 50 times the amount of red pepper flakes that you need, you run the risk of killing your family's tastes buds.

  1. You just have to be smarter than the red pepper canister Rach..... It was still yummy ~ well what I could taste through the burn :)
