This recipe comes from the back of Bob's Red Mill Cornmeal bag, and its delicious. I'll fill you in on the secret so you don't have to buy Bob's cornmeal if you don't want to.
1 C cornmeal
1 C whole wheat pastry flour
.5 t salt
4 t baking powder
1 egg
1 C milk
.25 C softened butter
Bob suggests that you sift the dry ingredients together and then add the egg, milk and butter. Only beat until smooth or about 1 minute according to Bob. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 425. Bob says to serve it with a beaming smile, I say you can serve it with a scowl if you want. I said Bob a lot here, but it is his recipe. Bob.
